Originally from Patagonia, Argentina, Ramiro Carranza studied advertising before beginning his career as an art director and later Associate Creative Director at agencies including The Community and República Havas.
His agency background taught him how to build ideas from the ground up, collaborate closely with clients and brands, and understand the balance between strategy, storytelling, and execution.
A multicultural director fluent in English and Spanish, with conversational Portuguese, Ramiro moves seamlessly between general market and multicultural campaigns, connecting authentically with talent, agencies, brands, and audiences across different markets. He has directed work for brands including Cadillac, New Era, Home Depot, NBC Sports, McDonald's, Walmart, Xfinity, Ancestry, Cheetos, and other leading global brands.
Most recently, his work earned a Clio Sports Award for Ancestry x NBC Sports and a Bronze Cannes Lion for The Renaissance of Snacking with Cheetos. He recently wrapped a McDonald's campaign tied to the FIFA World Cup 2026 and is currently developing his first narrative short film, Fish Scale, which was selected as a semifinalist for the Antigravity Academy x Dolby Short Film Fund.
